Robert A. Heimann
Principal
Rob joined River Cities with operations and investment experience in venture-funded technology companies with particular expertise in M&A transactions, channel development and corporate strategy. Rob is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities as well as helping support existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining River Cities, Rob was VP of Corporate Development at Intelliseek, Inc., a marketing services company backed by River Cities. At Intelliseek, Rob oversaw several acquisitions, managed the Company's Series B financing and helped establish several strategic OEM and reseller partnerships. Prior to that, he worked with Arthur Andersen & Co. consulting with new ventures on financing, M&A transactions, and other accounting and tax issues.
Rob holds a master's degree in business administration from the J.L. Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University, where he graduated with distinction and was awarded Beta Gamma Sigma. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia and is a CPA.
He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Cincinnati Venture Association and of the Starfire Council of Greater Cincinnati and is a member of the University of Virginia's regional selection committee for the Jefferson Scholarship Program.
